DEADLIFE (aka Ed Hawx) is a Darksynth producer from Manchester, United Kingdom. He was picked up by New Retro Wave Records after the success of his debut album, Bionic Chrysalis.
In August 2019, DEADLIFE debuted at No. 12 in the US Billboard Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart with his album Singularity, with his other album, Rebel Nights, just missing out on No. 15 in the same week.
In February 2021 it was announced that DEADLIFE had signed to FiXT Neon for his forthcoming album, God in the Machine, which came out in August 2021.
In early 2022 DEADLIFE posted that he was releasing his 10th album on his previous label NewRetroWave. Tortured Waters was released in March 2022.
Mid-2023 DEADLIFE's released his 11th album, Mortal Sojourn, on NewRetroWave in July 2023.
