Hotline Miami: The Takedown is an EP from Scattle which contains the songs that appear on the soundtrack of Hotline Miami. It was released as an EP on October 26, 2012 and features 6 tracks. Knock Knock is also featured on Scattle's first full album, Timelapse.
Scattle commented that he contacted Jonatan Söderström, member of Dennaton Games and one of the designers of Hotline Miami, through an indie games blog. When Scattle viewed the prototype of the game, he asked Jonatan if he could compose music for it [1] [2].
